Scott Brester

Scott Brester joined Forsyth Insurance in 2021. He worked in claims for several years and owned a small business. Scott prides himself on building strong relationships to better understand his client’s needs. He takes pride in delivering exceptional service with every interaction. He focuses on Auto, Business, Home, Life and Umbrella Insurance.

Scott and his wife, Robin, have 2 sons. He enjoys running, playing soccer, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Jeff Iverson

Jeff Iverson worked in the insurance industry for many years before joining Forsyth Insurance in 1999. He specializes in Home, Auto, Umbrella, Business, and Life insurance.

Jeff is a lifelong Nebraskan and a University of Nebraska graduate. He is an active member of Christ Lincoln’s Yankee Hill location. He is married to Micki and they have two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys watching the boys’ sports activities, golfing, and taking care of his acreage.

Steve Mason

Steve Mason brings more than five decades of insurance expertise to our team. A graduate of Peru State College, Steve began his insurance career in 1971 and has since built a reputation as a trusted advisor in complex risk placement and specialty markets.

Throughout his career, he has developed deep expertise in automobile dealerships and non-emergency medical transport, becoming a go-to resource for industry professionals and state organizations alike. His long-standing involvement with the Nebraska Independent Auto Dealers Association and leadership within the Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska reflect his commitment not only to his clients but to the advancement of the insurance profession.

In addition to his professional achievements, Steve has been deeply involved in supporting local youth programs and nonprofit organizations in Lincoln. His experience, integrity, and industry leadership continue to make him a valuable advocate for the businesses and communities he serves.

Ardyth Rost

Ardyth Rost started at Forsyth Insurance while attending Nebraska Wesleyan in 1982 working as a file clerk. She was a customer service rep and accounting assistant before becoming an agent. Her specialty is Personal Lines: Home, Auto, Umbrella, Cycle, and RV.

Ardyth is married to Bill and they have one son. She enjoys Chiefs football, sprint car racing, NASCAR, reading and living on an acreage.

Burton Spivey

Burton Spivey joined Forsyth Insurance in 2003. He earned his CIC designation in 2013. Burton finds enjoyment in building relationships with his clients. His goal is to provide clients with the best options whether it be for their personal or business needs.

Burton grew up in Alabama and graduated from Auburn University. He moved to Nebraska to live in his wife’s hometown. Burton is kept busy with his 3 children. When he can find free time he enjoys hunting, spending time with friends, & cheering on his alma mater.

Shannon Ashburn,

Shannon Ashburn brings a strong administrative background and a passion for client service to our team. She is a graduate of University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she studied Business Administration. Shannon grew up in the small town of Hayes Center, Nebraska, developing the work ethic and values that continue to guide her today.

Throughout her career, Shannon has served in several administrative support roles, gaining valuable experience in organization, communication, and client coordination. After stepping away for personal medical reasons, a chance reconnection brought her to the insurance industry in 2025.

Outside of the office, Shannon enjoys staying active and spending time with her young daughter.

Connie Hajek,

Connie Hajek has been a cornerstone of the team since the 1980s. A lifelong Nebraskan, Connie graduated from Columbus Scotus Central Catholic High School & is a graduate of Nebraska College of Business in Omaha. For Connie it’s more than just policies—it’s about the relationships.

Outside of work, Connie is most happy when surrounded by family, especially her three granddaughters, who keep her smiling.

Jill Hullinger

Jill Hullinger is another lifelong Nebraskan. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She brings unmatched attention to detail, keeping our books accurate, our IT running smoothly, and our team on track.

Outside the office, she enjoys cheering on our Husker Volleyball team and traveling with her husband and daughter creating unique adventures.

Megan Johnson

Megan Johnson was raised on a farm near Valparaiso, Nebraska. She brings a strong work ethic and people-first mindset to everything she does. Megan is a graduate of Bishop Neumann High School in Wahoo, NE, and spent many years building valuable experience in customer service before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her three daughters. In 2024, she joined Forsyth Insurance. She supports clients and internal operations with organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to service.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, hiking, and gardening with native plants.

Karen Kidder

Karen Kidder is a native of Ord, Nebraska and moved to Lincoln after graduation where she began her career in insurance. Over the course of 30 years, she built extensive industry knowledge, earned her AIC designation, and has gained a deep understanding of client service and insurance operations.

In 2014, Karen joined Forsyth Insurance Agency where she plays an essential role in supporting both clients and team members.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys traveling, cooking, growing houseplants, playing board games, and spending quality time with her family.

Michelle Terrazas-Zarate

Michelle Terrazas-Zarate was born in Arkansas and raised in Nebraska, where she graduated from North Star High School and completed two years of college before beginning her professional career.

She spent two years working in the optical field before transitioning into the insurance industry, where she brings strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for helping others. She believes in putting herself in her clients’ shoes to deliver thoughtful, personalized service every step of the way.

Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she is a proud mother to her son, Khai. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and experiencing new places and cultures.
